Food and service was good. It was very busy but they did a great job at keeping up and checking in on us. Highly recommend their steak. Update..08/02/2025... went to eat on Sat after work. Google maps says open 7 AM to 1 AM. The restaurant was not open it is only open 5 PM To 9 PM Fri Sat and Sun according to the hours on the door. This needs to be updated on Google maps. Waste of a 20 mile drive.

A really home style locals place that is well outside of town but worth the drive. Great steak, which is obviously locally grown, very good baked potato, enh sort of salad bar but really good coleslaw that you dressed with your choice of dressing. Very homey locals oriented decor (don't get dressed up, you are more likely to see the next door farmer/rancher in work clothes than someone in duds) but the food is what it is about. We'd spent the last 10 days in "fishing country" with the best of that, but wanted a good steak; this was the place to get it! The homey atmosphere was perfect for what and where, but not something you would describe as "nice", the decor was fun to look at and fit for the rest of this restaurant that is in the back three-quarters of a quick-mart sort of filling station but a bit too loud and crowded for the two of us that are very hard of hearing. (Fortunately, we were there on a Sunday evening and it was pretty quite so we were VERY happy with the whole ambiance. Also, this review is a balance of full disclosure and foodie pleasure.) The wines are not sophisticated or what one might want in a good steak house and only listed by varietal; but when I asked barkeep what the reds were;Josh! We had both a Cab and Merlot, and both were quite good especially for the price. The whole deal was a 9.8 of 10!

Great food! Their steaks are to die for! This is a full service gas station with an amazing restaurant in it. If you are traveling this is a must. The salad bar is absolutely to die for and you can't go wrong with their steaks.

You must stop into the station and grab a cheeseburger if you come to these crossroads! Quaint setting with a bar around the cashier stand.
